So it was in the 100's today in Salem...and we do not have AC so we planned an escape to the coast! The beach is only about an hour away and oh, not kidding 40 degrees cooler! it was low 60's when we got the sand.
Lily was like freaking out the whole time, doing her hyperventilation panting thing that she does it was hilarious, I think the sound of the crashing waves really was exciting or something?
our dinner was a small watermelon and a cantaloupe, we brought a knife and two spoons...so perfect!

Chad morphs back into a little boy when we are around sand, he makes castles and animals. Today was a sea turtle at the request of me:)

OHH that sea turtle is so cool! Looks like fun guys! Don't worry I'll be getting ahold of you on the way down! Did I tell you we aren't leaving until September 9th now? So expect us around then!
