We're back. Ugh. I don't want to be though, I want to be back in heaven (aka Sandpoint). But we are dealing.
We had SO much fun, ate a ton of good food, slept a lot, laughed a lot and played a lot.
Like I said, the people with babies (us and Danny and Jess) stayed at the cottage. I want to live there. Its beyond adorable and so open and bright. Here is my Lily goat being the goof that she is.
The very last day, Chad wanted to harvest some apples from the little orchard they have.
(it was a early bloomer tree)
Chad and my little boy cousins would just shake the branches and TONS of apples would fall, and Lily would yell: "ball!!!!!!!!!" then "abuhl!!!! (apple)"
{Don't know if you noticed, but Lily never matched this whole trip, she was either naked, in jammies, or a swim suit. Oh the life!}
We got this many times 2. Not kidding. The peeling and coring was tedious but also fun, Chad and I chatted it up with my 7 and 12 year old sweet cousins. If I have boys I hope they turn out as sweet and funny as these guys. I loved hearing their thought processes on primary, recess, and sports.
What to do with literally over 150 cups of sliced apples? Make the mother load of apple sauce, it was amazing. We may have also make several apple crisps as well.
I would be lying if I said this didn't make me a teensy bit excited for fall. I know I need to enjoy the summer, but don't sweaters, leaves, pumpkin everything and my baby being born sound wonderful?
