tour de salem hospital

Tonight we took a tour of the Salem Hospital, where if all goes according to plan {as in not in the car or something} Eden will enter the world.

It is basically all brand new and super nice. Walking around and seeing the labor and delivery rooms brought back special memories of our family becoming three and got me excited for it to be a family of four.

I can not believe in a matter of weeks this girl will be here. There is still so much I want to get done prior to her arrival but if she wants to come tonight I'd be really ok with it. I am excited for the actual delivery part too, I have a feeling it will be a lot more...less brutal than with Lilster.

*plus the hospital has my favorite kind of ice.

It's the little balls of ice, isn't it? That's my favorite kind-was sort of the one bright spot of being on hospital bed rest for me!

I cannot believe you're so close...seriously...you know, if Eden hasn't come out by the 25th, I'm sure some 50's rocking will totally get her out ;)

The Salem Hospital is really nice. I delivered Sam and Bryce there, and LOVED it. The nurses are awesome, and the rooms are nice and big and comfortable.
And I bet your 2nd will be easier too. I was induced with Ashley, but the pushing time was cut from 2.5 hours (with Sam) to 5 minutes (with Ashley) and the recovery time was much much shorter.
Good luck, I'm so excited for you! :)
