fruits of my labor:

sorry, not the baby kind of labor, the crafty kind of labor:
the new couch blankie. its the right size for two people to cuddle.
This is made up of old SQHS/rangers t-shirts, FHS football, wrestling and track t-shirts and a St. George marathon shirt...there is quite a variety. We had a bunch or old shirts stored up, and honestly we never wore them but didn't have the heart to rid ourselves of them...so now we snuggle with them! Easy, just cut them out, sew them together and bam, a blanket. the back is cool too...same thing as the front just different shirts. This one will be a good one to take to Lily and Eden's soccer games:)

The girls new room! basically everything you see now, is completely new (not new, but either painted a different color, stitched up or rearranged) It was fun to put together. There is also a changing table and more stuff on that wall but you'll just have to come over and see for yourself ok?
(note the rocking chair, thats what I was rocked to sleep on!)

closer look:
This is Lily's quilt. The back and the border are nice soft flannel.
Eden's quilt. I cant wait to wrap her up in it!
I am really happy how these turned out. And I kid you not, spent no money on them. I had this fabric stored up and then used old blankets and sheets to cut up for anything else I needed.

The rest of the house is different too, come over and see! And Not joking, I spend in total: $10 to make it happen. The key is being resourceful and creative with the material that you got.

Everything is adorable, Rachel. I especially love the quilts. If you weren't about ready to birth a baby, I'd ask you to make a couple more for me! Maybe you can just show me how some time after Eden makes her long-awaited arrival!

I love your quilts. Unlike the other girl. I would totally have you make me one. Ha ha. What if I sent you the fabric and 20 dollars. What would you say then. I cant wait to see that little baby. I cant believe you are due already!
