t.n.o.

Thursday Night Out. Its what Chad's fellow grad class mates do every week. But instead of going and getting plastered, we walked around down town and ate at a hole-in-the-wall Thai place. (that was pretty de-lish if you ask me) I ventured out of my usual phad thai, and got pad se yu....dang good. (fresh basil, tofu, tons of veggies and wide rice noodles)
Isnt this the coolest? (When I become Jessica Kettle's apprentice, I will do shoots here.)
Things said while walking around:
Me: "was that a man or woman"
Jim:"ummmm, maybe both?"
I also got a little choked up and pretty sad while we were walking around. We crossed paths with a TINY, had to be barely 16 year old girl, full on prego and smoking. Walking around with some ''thugged'' out dudes. I seriously wanted to grab her, take her home, feed her, love her, and break all her cigs. It was hard for me not to yell "let me have your baby!" What if that was my tiny Lily sent to her? Pray for that girl and her baby.

speaking of tiny Lily, isnt this blurry picture cute?(its hard to get a regular shot, shes very wiggley.) She got to hang out with some of her best buddies while we had some mommy-daddy-alone time. And she didnt even care that we left. Yeah, I feel loved.

...and my friend even tweezes my eyebrows...and offers me food.
oh that sounds like the drunken noodle dish at On Rice here in Bham, my absolute fave, I should try it with tofu next time. YUM.

That's awesome that Jim's classmates find time to unwind, sounds like you got in with a really great group! You are right, how did our children (and we) get so lucky to fall into a loving home with the gospel? We shouldn't take it for granted!

I can't believe how much she looks like Chad. BTW, I was reading a baby magazine when we were at the hospital in Kansas City and the mag had an ad for a babyclothes boutique and the boutique was named lilibelle. :) I thought of you guys. I love hole in the wall places. They are the best!

That makes me so mad...when Robby and I were first married and before we had any babies, I had just gotten a job at this one place and there was this super preganant girl that worked there. I couldn't believe it almost every day she would stand outside and smoke cigarrettes!!!
It's crazy that anyone can be a mom and that's just how it is.
