Today wonderful. I don't have too much to say about it, the pictures will do that.
A year ago we would have been doing this in several feet of snow and it would have been below zero out. I am glad that was last year.
Lily LOVED the beach. Non-stop moving, she barely ate cause she had so much to do: Chase, and kiss multiple dogs (one was Porter's twin Jess!) dig in the sand, ride and push the sled, crawl all the way down to the water, sit on a sand couch, and get gently kissed by the sun on her delicious cheeks.
She loved Leia's beach toys. {You will notice most pictures of her are of the side of her head...she never would look at us}
She didn't eat plane ol' sand actually, but everything she ate was covered in sand via her little chubby hand. I expect an exfoliating diaper change in the near future.
Eliot and Chad made a couch. The most functional sand creation ever made, I think.
She totally wiped her sandy hands ALL over his face. My favorite action shot.

At one point I sat down, felt the sun (I LOVE you sun, thank you for gracing us with your lovely presence) listened to the waves crashing, my baby squawking and my husband chatting and thought to my self : Life cant get much better than this.

It's good to hear I'm not the only one. Ethan never wants to come to me anymore, it's all about Daddy. Daniel tries to make me feel better by saying that I'm never gone so he has no reason to miss me. I dunno. maybe he'll grow out of it?
I can't believe it was warm enough down there to go to the beach! It was freezing up here! LUCKY!

Man, when you sent me that text yesterday I thought it was just some picture you had. I didn't believe you were actually there because it was sunny, and it's hardly EVER sunny at cannon. So fun, wish we could have been at the same beach together (not gonna lie. Preferably mine.)
Those pictures are amazing! I can't believe it was warm on the coast. I'm totally jealous.
I'm so glad we all went out, it waw sa GREAT day... I hope someone got to enjoy the couch after we left.
These pictures are so cute!! What a fun time. I'm pretty jealous that I don't have a beach to just prance over to at any given time.... Love you much!
