Tonight we partied. Lily turned one, and we believed in celebrating it.
Lily doesn't hold back.
She was spoiled beyond what we expected: puzzle, leggings, jeans, shirts, skirts, toys, books, things that make lots of noise...our friends are too nice.
The party seemed to go in shifts, a bunch of people left and then a bunch of people came, we stayed and talked until Lily was well past her expiration. At the end of the night she was in love with Thalmer (who gave Chad and I beautiful scarves from Saudi Arabia, happy birthday Lily!) and Chris (who gave her the most annoying toy=her favorite toy).
All in all a great night. Good food, good friends, and a feisty baby who turned one.

And that chili...yum! Recipe? Is it on your other blog? I loved it! And my girls did, too. They're always great on soups!
Those scarves were gorgeous that Thalmer gave you guys...and I think Scharae was a little jealous of Lily's new turtle toy!
