About two weeks ago Chad's parents came down to see Lily, and us if we happened to be here.
First things first, Toyke told Lily his deepest darkest secrets. So far she isnt telling.
We said good bye to Lily's old car seat. Hello big girl seat, we love you.
Lily got her new-to-her-bed. Toyke made these when his kids were Lil's age. They had one in the garage and brought it down, all it needs is some paint! She loves it, we just pushed the open side to the wall, so far there have been no escape attempts.The high light of the trip was going to the beloved 'coast'
{Oregonians refer to the beach as the coast, do not get it wrong please}
the sand was pretty cold, but we still took our shoes off.

we all hiked up this huge dune, see the little red dot? That is Chad, next to Toyke.
THIS was on the other side, can you spot Chad?
On the right we could see a seal looking for some brunch.

I am so jealous of the "coast" you get to go and see. It looks absolutley amazing! Good idea on pushing the bed into the wall~genius!!

Great pictures...didn't know an iphone took such great ones! Definitely think we'll have to do some playdates at the COAST this summer to cool off from the 100 degree weather!
The bed...the bed...I remember those beds! And the boys' beds, too! My girls actually had that one's mate until not too long ago. Sadly they were rather rough on it and it is no longer in existence...lots of wood glue later and John gave up when Scharae literally started eating it. But she loved her "hearts bed from mommy's friend's daddy made"!
