its been a long days night,

and hes constantly working like a dog.
{this is an old pic. Its "three years of: marriage"}
This post is about Chad.
.
He was up at 5am studying and then left this morning at 6:45ish with kisses from both his ladies. One included slobber AND boogers. Lucky guy! He will not be home until as late as 2am (huge project due).
Can I just tell you that I am really proud of this guy and am really glad I am not him? Honestly, how does he have the drive to study like that ALL the time, to have patience with crazy people in groups, to do well in interviews (cross your fingers for the best internship k?), to apply to over 60 internships (dont know if you heard, economy sucks=no internships) and turn in quality work? If it were me, I would have stopped caring last semester and ate resorted to eating more. (More pitas with olive oil and feta, cause honestly thats all I want to eat lately)
.
This crazy day is not irregular either, in fact its very regular. Most days he sees Lily for about 3 hours. I know it kills him. Today when he left, she watched him leave out the front window and yelled "DAAAAAAHHHHH!" for about five minutes, which then proceeded with pounding the front door to get out. He rarely sees me out of PJs (leaves too early, gets home too late for me to still have jeans on). Dinner is often heated up, and he often goes to bed with me already sound asleep. He misses out on a lot of fun because of school. This weekend I get to party with my family(s) and he stays here in Salem so he can study and work on school stuff. I know this is real hard on him too.
.
I guess all I am saying is, I am so grateful he works so hard, and still manages to make me laugh take me on dates and grocery shop with me every once and a while and smother Lilster with daddyness whenever possible. And next time you see him, give him a high five or something:)

PS- Any Salem friends want to take care of my love on Easter? as he will be alllll alone:( ....but he is excited about long boarding to church:)

Yay for Chad! He is working way hard...and our fingers are certainly crossed for the best internship ever!

He's totally welcome to crash with us on Easter-we're having dinner with the family at my grandma's in town here around 5...we'd love to have him join us!

I am sooooo glad that someone else can understand my life!! :)
Brian also won't be home until 2 or 3am or whenever he gets his huge project done as well....but isn't awesome to have husband who are willing to work so hard for the degrees they want?! I, like you, would have/did stop caring with the bachlors.
Hope you have a great weekend with your family.
Just remember....it's almost over! (At least the homework part.)
