home at last

first things first,
I was picking up the kitchen a little bit and all a sudden I hear Lily cracking up. In my room. I walk in there and she is standing in front of the mirror looking at herself, some how she figured out how to do this to her shirt. If that doesn't make your day, don't know what will!
To the Meynders' new home!
Not only do we have a double door entry but they are purple, AND have a knocker thingy.

{Mind you, there are no decor attempts as of yet, things are still in boxes, but these pics are for you to get the idea}
This is the main room, its huge...like more space than we are used to...and notice the awesome huge windows? I doubt we will ever shut the blinds. Ever.

This is the view from the window:
The Willamette River. We watch boats all day, there is even an old Marc Twain steam boat that rides by couple times a day toots its horn, Lily loves it.

Hello cabinet space, we have never met before, but I have a feeling we are going to get a long great.
I have empty spaces people, EMPTY. Its a beautiful thing.

The messy deck {remember, still not un-packed. Promise we are not really white trash}
View front the deck.

A new tradition has suddenly started. Chad comes home round 5 and music is usually already playing, he swoops Lily up and they dance away. If you wanna hear little Lily giggles come over round 5.

Don't know if you knew, but moving reeeeallly sucks. I actually am the opposite of a fan. It was really tiring for us all. We crashed hard on Sunday for a few hours, all of course in our bed. If you want a long nap in our house have Lily sleep with you.

Here is the typical sequence of camera+me+Lily:

Yay for the internet being back in my life. Yay for new house. Yay for unpacking. And double yay for the huge rummage sale tomorrow going on by the capitol, on cottage street, you better believe I'm there at 9! Who's with me?!

OK WOW! I wish we had that much space!! How much do you guys pay for that place? I am curious about the price difference between there and here (here being Kansas).
