my baby's daddy.

To my love:
Happy Father's day.
You are so kind and gentle.
The ideal father for our children.
You change diapers as often as you can.
You sing Lily to sleep (that's what he's doing right now, "families can be together forever")
I catch you getting choked up watching videos of Lily from only a few months ago.
You dance with her.
You often smother her with kisses and hugs so much she gets annoyed.
I listen to your conversations with Lily about how much you love her, and how beautiful she is.
You were born to be a father.
Today I felt pregnant, like a freshly pregnant, as in queasy all day. I wanted to make a smattering of Chad's favorite food but didn't have the stomach or strength for it.

"The best father's day gift you can give me is letting me serve my wife."
He said it, and I know he meant it.

Made some braided cheese bread that I dare say was dang good.
Also some awesome pizza.

Chad is so good at just playing with Lily.
the start:

The finish: the three of us touching feet, rolling the ball back and forth.

The sun was shining, dinner cooking, tunes playing, baby laughing.
One of us said "It cant get much better than this."
and it really couldn't.
