Here are some things we did today to try to not completely melt, and/or have melt downs.
{Don't worry, it was only 109 degrees when we went to go pick up Chad 3 hours later. Not kidding.}
I shut them when its the same inside as it is outside: today that was 7:30 am, it was 80!
Dresses and skirts allow a breeze:)
Lily:edamame and cheese.
Me: tomato, pitas, tuna, spinach
{we also totally made frozen yogurt, and smoothies}
Just walk around, eat the samples and hang out in the produce room they have...heavenly. I turned the cart around and let Lily be captain, she yelled at everyone we passed.
We stopped by to say "hi" for a few minutes, it felt sooooo nice.
Chad is a genius. He plugged our stand up freezer back in and loaded it up with our bedding, so through out the evening he will pile the freezing cold comforter, pillows and blankets on Lils and I. She kept wanting to get in so we put her in there...she laid there like this the whole time, giggling and smiling. She also totally freaked out when we took her out.
We also went to the pool today, its hard cause Lily just doesn't last long in the water, she just wants to run around the pool. Its a two person job, and a short job too.
We were happy today, sweaty, and I wore my swim suit the majority of the day but we survived the worst of it. Wish us luck tonight!
