Had a doctors appointment today.
Here's the deal:
-blood pressure is great
-measuring at 40.5 weeks (doc says she is at least 8 lbs..."not a 9 pounder...yet" to quote her)
-dilated to a 2
-baby is healthy, still high though
-Monday have an appointment (if she hasn't come by then) to monitor her and get another ultrasound to make sure the placenta is still up to par
-Tuesday, meet with doc again to go over results
-Thursday (Oct 15th) is my induction date
Lets all pray she comes before she has to be induced k? I was induced with Lilster and I reeeeally didn't like it.
So now its a game of keeping really busy. I feel really good (considering I am 9+ months prego) and Lily is as always, entertaining. So if you wanna hang out, just let me know, I am game!

i totally know your pain. Isla was overdue 9 days... not so fun. i was induced both times. hated it with blaine but with isla it was MUCH different. maybe because the body has gone through the whole birth thing already it doesn't resist? don't know. i will send you the good labor vibes and don't stress too much about a second induction, i have heard from other people that it is MUCH easier than the first. hopefully you bypass the whole induction thing and just go into labor naturally! :)
Good luck, My sister-in-law was due yesterday and still waiting, the whole waiting game is awful I think they should tell you your due a week later then you actually are then when it comes "early" you'll be ecstatic!
Sounds like a great appointment...minus the whole fact that you even had to have it since you haven't had that baby yet!

I have an induction scheduled the week before my due date, but I'm still hoping to go before that. :) But I figure I probably won't be lucky again like I was with Macey (she was 2 wks early).
Once it gets to the end you just want that baby out, because it's not like you're sleeping much anyways!

I'm voting October 11, simply because thats Cory's birthday, and how fun would that be?! Aparently Evening Primrose Oil is supposed to help you start effacing, so I guess you could always try that? Definitely prayin for ya!
