Today was a one of those days.
I woke up wishing it was Saturday (ps-its only Wednesday)
Maybe its cause Chad is back in class again (meaning, he leaves as we ladies are getting out of bed and gets back home after 9, last night was 12).
Or maybe cause its wicked overcast/rainy and is not going to let up for a few more months (sun, i miss you).
Or maybe cause my kid is sick, and so is everyone else so we aren't very social at the moment. Or maybe it was nothing.
Either way I woke up bummed.
Ever do that?
Anyways, by 7 pm:
Lily was refusing to wear not only clothes but diaper and was my nudest sprinter.
Eden wanted second and third and fourth helpings of dinner.
I was about done.
Then my naked almost (6 days!) two year old folded her arms: "ameen?" meaning she wanted to pray.
I said one that she would be a good girl, and wear clothes, or at least not pee on the carpet.
"ameen?"
The second one, I tearfully asked that I could be happier. That I would better enjoy this time that I get with my kids.
We said 'ameen', hugged and turned on the radio and Lily and I danced around.
I was happier.
Lily was still naked.
(and no pee on the carpet)
(that I know of)

Ethan's doing the naked thing too.
You're not alone in your feelings, I feel it too sometimes. We watched Monster's Inc. today, I love it how Mike got super jazzed after his picture got covered up on TV and on the magazine. I mean super jazzed, like jumping up and down over something that was supposed to be sad. It was amazing to me.
I love relating my life to kid's movies, sometimes it's all I got. :)
Oh, Rach. I love this post! And I can't get over Eden's face! Your girls are so cute. AND I totally feel your wishing it was Saturday. I start that Sunday night...
