good bye dear friends

Tonight we said goodbye to some our best friends. We very well may never see them again. It was really sad.

These guys were are first friends we made here in Salem.

Our go-to family to join us on spur of the moment coast trips, hikes, dinners, park adventures, runs, dates, kid swaps, really the list goes on. Lily is really going to have a hard time with this, her best friend all gone? Hard one to grasp.

Now that they are gone, Salem as we once knew it is over. Its really going to be weird driving by their place and not seeing their car, or not being able to go running with Sylvie or meet up at the park. Just weird.

Sometimes change just plain sucks.

But really, these guys are in for an adventure, and I am excited for them. And we can hope that someday, we'll cross paths.
