summer

It is over 100* F daily here in our little town.
That's hot.
But there are benefits.
We hang dry all our laundry, and it takes about five seconds for it to dry, especially little girl undies (so cute seeing them sway in the breeze!)
And the only make up I wear is: mascara, sun screen and some red lipstick if I'm feeling extra spicy.

I love you summer...
but could you tone it down, just a bit?

Rachel, you don't know me, but I feel like I know you. I worked with Chad in Activities at BYU-Idaho. He was probably one of my favorite people in Idaho. And even though I don't know you personally, you have become one of my favorite people in "blog world" and I decided it was time to tell you that I LOVE your blog. I love your style, I love your ideas, I love your pictures, I love your spunk, and I love how you manage to turn every day into a grand adventure. You inspire me. Love, Jetta

I also skip on almost all makeup in the summer! Usually it's just mascara and a little eyeliner on my bottom lid. That's it. Everything else will just melt off. But at least you still do your hair so you look awesome! Your hair is gorgeous.

This is my third summer living in the south and I have finally gotten used to the heat. We went swimming last night when it was 95 degrees and actually thought that it might be a little too cold to swim. Crazy.
