2012

I used to think new years was basically lame, just an excuse for people to get wasted. But I've changed my mind the past few years.
It's a beautiful thing, the idea of starting new and bettering yourself.
We had a fun new years eve, went to a party with great food, friends, and of course rock band and catch phrase. We headed home by 10:00, and were all asleep before midnight...I know right? Party animals I tell you!
This year, 2012, is going to be all about more routine, more structure.

Weekly menus, specific days for laundry, cleaning the bathroom and fun stuff like that.
A better night time routine for all of us.
An exercise plan, with a half marathon schedule in there.
Scripture study with study guides and my journal.
Planning fun get-togethers with old and new friends.

It's going to be a good year.

your new year sounds like my new year - more structure 100%! and a half marathon, too :) mine is in may, i've been training for it already and it's actually been really revealing to me how much mental/emotional baggage i have... much more difficult mentally than physically. i am not an athlete by any means, i wasn't expecting it to do so much for me in more ways than just physical. pretty cool.

Amen Carly, running is my free therapy. For so many reasons! So excited to get started, so done being postpartum.
