Is the flu going around like crazy where you are?

It's cray cray here. Like, schools are being CANCELED it's so bad. I didn't even know that was possible.

Annnd I was feeling pretty proud of me and my family. I was super awesome/anal about hand washing. Very anti-social. Didn't take my kids to the gym child care. We even skipped church once because I knew people that were going that were still sick...really we were doing awesome.

AND THEN...

I got the stomach bug.

I am actually doing better, than yesterday.  I think the light at the end of the tunnel may arrive tomorrow? *fingers crossed!* 

But the best story of this whole experience? Are you ready? And I am not exaggerating or making this up:

Yesterday it was in the mid 60's and sunny out so the girls were running around the yard getting muddy while I just laid a blanket down on the patio and thought I was going to die. And then I rolled over on my back and looked up at the beautiful clear blue sky and literally there was a VULTURE CIRCLING ABOVE ME. I about died, I called my sister and Chad and told them immediately cause I thought it was too hilarious and kinda creepy to keep to myself. I felt like a carcass....and apparently I looked like one too.

Now if you will excuse me, I have more laying around while drinking ginger ale to do.
