Happy, Merry Thanksmas!

Before we left for Chicago for Thanksgiving, I was talking to my neighbors and we were both sad we weren't having a feast with them.
So we agreed that we would celebrate THANKSMAS!
Its the in-between-holiday, after Thanksgiving, before Christmas.

It was fully of butter and wonderfulness.

our Menu:
Turkey
Stuffing
Glazed ham
mashed potatoes
rolls
cinnamon-cranberry sauce
maple-ginger-sweet potatoes
pumpkin pie
cheesecake
lots of whipped cream
root beer.

After feasting, we went around the room and told something that we are thankful for, and our favorite part of Christmas.

We've done this with some good friends for the last 4 years. It is so much fun! I like the name Thanksmas though- we've been calling ours Pretend Thanksgiving :)
