Lily and I went to the state fair grounds to check out the agricultural fest. It was fun to see all the animals and crazy 4H kids, but we only lasted 20 minutes. One year olds don't appreciate the funny little details like 23 year olds do apparently:
For some reason this cow would only look at Lils. They both just stared in silence for probably 2 minutes straight. All the other kids were mooing, and trying to feed it hay, but for some reason there was some chemistry between my little calf and this cow.
Oh and they did have a little bit a of fair food...
I would like to say Lily and I shared it and she at a lot of it, but that would be lying. I ate the whole thing minus the few attempts I tried to get Lily to eat.
It may have been a short adventure, but any adventure involving elephant ears qualifies as a success dont you think?

What are elephant ears?? Are they like funnel cakes?
Glad you had some fair food! John almost wanted to take our butts down there after the doctor appt just so he could eat greasy food!
Oh, and we're not sure on how K's finger is...it's huge and still sausage looking. Trying some antibiotics to see if it helps. If not...I think they might have to actually cut into it to relieve the swelling-it's that big :( Still no clue what happened, but it appears to be infected.
