little ghost and other ramblings

This going to be a good day.
We all got up together, ate some breakfast, then I listened to Lily and Chad talk in the shower while I danced to THIS SONG and did the dishes, in my long johns. I love this song, its cute and happy.
here is smattering of up dates:
Pregnancy related:
-We find out what the fetus is in 13 days. SO pumped. I find myself getting more and more excited everyday for this little munchkin to join the party.
-Pregnancy weight gain= negative 10 lbs. That's right I am 10 lbs lighter then I was 4 months ago. All by being healthy. I just wish my boobsicles would shrink. Cause honestly, I find them obnoxious.
-I really like my doctor.
-I want my food to be either: real spicy, lots of vinegar, or real sour. What?
-For those of you who are like: "oh I hate you, you aren't even showing! blah blah blah." You obviously didn't see me with Lily. I save it all until the end and I explode. Like, my stretch marks literally bled, and I was asked if there were twins in there multiple times. Look back in my archives, there is proof.
.
.
Findings:
-Lily and I can eat a whole bag of edamame in less than an hour together.
-Showering at night solves all problems. Honestly it cuts the morning routine down hugely.
-I was driving the other day, the clouds were hanging real low and the sun was peeking through. And I thought to myself, I bet, when we die, we will look back in our life and see that God was a lot closer to us than we could have imagined. I now have a goal to find God's hand in the little things, like this morning, being with my family, dancing, if that isn't heaven sent, what is?

edamame was the only thing i ate for about three months of my pregnancy. i have a good recipe for spiced edamame if you want it! it might satisfy your spicy desires! (uhh...that sounded weird)

i LOVED this post. but, since i'm a science nerd and don't get out much...what's edamame?
Also, thanks for posting the last little bit. sometimes i need to be reminded that God has other plans for me then academia. Thanks rach.

Your stretch marks bled?? How awful! I'm so excited for you guys to find out the gender~how fun! I wish the showering at night worked for me, that is such a good idea! I am SO not a morning person that I need to shower to wake me up, or else I am a zombie. Normally I just roll Liv in the bathroom in her high chair and she eats breakfast which gives me just enough shower time!

My vote is that you are having a girl~then we would REALLY be the same: same distance apart (20 months) with two little girls that are born almost the same time as each other (off by a month or two). How crazy is THAT!?!?!
