I know what it feels like

I know what it feels like to have the ones you hold dear,
think you are foolish and discourage you.
I know what it feels like to rely totally on a small whisper from your heart.
I know what it feels like to doubt your self and your feelings.
I know what it feels like to be scared.
I know what it feels like to be vulnerable.
But
I also know what if feels like to have peace (again and again).
I know what it feels like to have true joy.
I know what it feels like to have what is important (my husband and daughters)
I know what it feels like to know you are doing the right thing.
I know what it feels like to feel God's love.

Last night, the four of us were sleeping on two twin beds.
Lily with Chad, Eden with me.
The babes were sound asleep and Chad and I were whispering back and forth and then it was my turn to pray.
I have learned what prayer really is the past few months.
I laughed in my prayer when I asked Heavenly Father to bless us with work so that we can buy mixing bowls.

I ended the prayer and we talked about our plan for the next few months...and then what? After those few months, then what? The thing is, we don't know. But we DO know the Lord knows. And we know it will be great.

So for those of you out there,
going through a tough spot,
you're not a lone.
Don't forget that k?

Rach I can't say thanks enough for all of your posts like this. I always need to hear it. You have such a good attitude about living life with no direction and I LOVE that. I need to be better :) Steve and I are graduating in December and have no idea what's next. So thanks for reminding me to focus on what matters. And good luck with your new adventure! You and Chad are the perfect team.
