sweater/results

Last night, the four of us went to one of my favorite places: Value Village.
Not only did I get a rad present for Chad, but we got four sweaters for %75 off to make our Christmas stockings, which I made during nap time...
(sorry for the poor quality picture)
and then I noticed I had a few spare minutes until the girls would be up from their naps, and that I had extra sweater scraps left over and this dress happened in those precious few minutes. I like to dress my kids in stuff that I would want to wear (at least I try as the budget permits)...and I put this on her and wished it was my size. I made another pretty dress for her too, but all she did was freak out when I put it on...so pictures of that one later.

I love that girl, freak-outs and all.
I mean, look at that face!

Oh and I almost forgot!
The winner of the give away is.....
#13 aka ERIN!!
email me your address k?

You are a sewing machine. I'm borrowing Shaunna's (Christopher's wife) right now to sew my quilt for YW's, it's not going so well. Too bad you're not here to help me with your amazing skills!

You are amazing! That sweater dress is so cute! You really have a talent, Rachel. Not everyone can turn scraps into pieces of art. Those girls don' even know yet how fortunate they are to have you for their mother!

I'm disappointed that I didn't win your awesome pins. Do you have any interest in making some to sell? I'm interested in buying! And I can even wait until after the New Year. :-)
