Tonight our church congregation celebrated finishing up the Old Testament with good 'ol fashioned fish fry.
All I can say is: WOW.
Tons of fried fish, hush-puppies, fries and slaw.
Oh and a cooler full of Coke (!!!!!!!!).
All we did was eat freshly fried food, drink (some caffeinated) beverages, and socialize.
My kind of party.
Jealous? Come visit in August when we cook a whole pig in a pit. No joke.

Whenever I hear "fish fry" I always think of Twilight and Harry Clearwaters Famous Fish Fry. haha.

Do you like hush puppies? I am not a fan:( Have you had Southern Boil yet??? (Low country boil is another name for it)... it is one of my favorite parts of living here!
