all before 12:30

Chad's bike tire pooped out this morning.
Which meant that we needed to take him in to work. That involved getting a 4, 2, and 0 year old fed, dressed, teeth brushed and ready to go. And packing a stupid amount of (healthy) snacks for said children that will us until 12:30. I also needed to gather a bunch of paper work for the doc appt (just a check up) that was happening at 10:30 for Eden. Somewhere in there I needed to at least brush my teeth. We all needed to be in the car and GONE by 8:15. 8:15 in the morning.
We accomplished that! Gold star for our family!
Then we went to the park to stall for 1.5 hours til the doc appt cause driving all the way home and back would be a pain and a waste of precious gas. The park was awesome, it did involve a lot of swing drama but we pulled through with grapes, greek yogurt and cheese sticks. It was close though. And my back hurts from lifting kids in and out of swings all while holding Maggers.

Then. The doctor appointment. The dreaded doctor appointment. I am very lucky that typically Chad can take an early lunch and join me for appts to help wrestle kids. But not today.  I dont know if you have met Eden, she is so sweet, but you can not force her to do anything. Also, she's two.

Long story short, the appt ended with me holding Maggie who was hysterical, while holding down Eden (who was also hysterical but much stronger than Maggie) so the doc could check her ears/eyes/mouth/tummy. We leave I am sweating,  and two of the three girls and still freaking out.

Then we needed to go the store to pick some things up before heading home, all the while talking REAL loud to keep Maggie awake so the store wouldn't be more of a disaster.

Long story short, we left the store with three crying kids all trying to climb out of the cart.

As I am checking out I use my associate card cause we get a discount cause Chad is an accountant for said store,  this happened:

Cashier: "So, what do you do for work?"
Me: "Oh, my husband works for Walmart, I stay at home with my kids."
Cashier: "Oh. You got the easy job."

She was serious.

Me: *laughing* "Actually, you are completely wrong."

Nice. How little she knows. I envy the ride home Ben gets by himself everyday. Easy? He-- No!

Oh, man. I've been having one of those weeks. It's like WWF wrestling in our house (and outside of our house) non-stop. All with accompanying yelling and whining, and crying. Yes. That cashier must not have any children.

I vowed never to take all 3 children to the dr. again. Last time miles fell down and cut his chin, then he of course got blood all over my shirt and his. Sadly, this ended up being the easiest part of the appt. I was a hot sweaty mess. Easy job? I don't think so.
