on the run

We watched General Conference yesterday via our trusty lap tops.
I sat there watching my girls play, and laugh so hard about Lily wearing mommy's boots, and daddy tickling toes.
I started to get sad, and honestly, somewhat scared. Life, in this ever changing world won't get easier. Choosing the right, being faithful, and living the gospel will become even more "un-popular".
I started wishing I could grab my girls and run. Keep them little and giggly forever, and run away. Where my only real worries about them is how I am going to get Eden's pink-eye eye drops in yet again, or getting Lily to wipe.

And then I heard the quote that I needed:
"The future is as bright as your faith."
-Thomas S. Monson

Ya know what? It's true. There are a lot of crappy things happening in the world.
And crappy things will continue to happen. But, that's ok.
We have faith, and it is bright. And it's all going to be great.

Watch/listen to more inspiration, live, today, HERE.

I've been feeling a huge urge lately to grab my nearest & dearest & run to the hills, form a commune & live off the land. You're welcome to join. Just wait till you have a boy & realize that nearly everything on the planet is pornographic on some level.
Can I please borrow a heaping scoop of your faith?
