Doesn't matter how late it is at night, CLEAN THE KITCHEN.
Waking up to a clean kitchen just starts the day right. Period.
I am pretty much fighting being grouch the whoooooolllle day if its messy.
Today is going to be great!

I totally agree! If my kitchen is a mess, I am a mess... and people usually show up unexpectedly and I get embarassed, lol.

I am the SAME way! Actually, I prefer the whole living area to be pretty much guest-ready when I go to bed. That's when I can focus on those important goals in life, like giving each kid their deserved attention rather than my kitchen counter. It doesn't always happen but things are better when it does.
